Something eating my Cucumbers & anem.alive ?

Does anybody know what would be eating like nickle size hole in my cucumbers in one night? And several 1/4 inch size holes? And eat the tenticles of my sea anem.?

I took the one out that I could get to with large holes and placed in another tank by its self in case it starts to die! I will remove the other one that I noticed had smaller chew marks when I see it closer to where I can reach it.

I have spent every night looking for what is doing it but dont see anything. some nights as late as 2-3 am even have been trying a red head light so not to desturb the critters!

kinda strange...as both animals are unappetizing to most marine life.

Anemone.....that is normal stuff.......will not look the same all the time...

cukes? dunno

try the bottle trap with fresh raw shrimp..or just a piece of raw shrimp..near the front glass.......or the shot glass approach....see what you can lure out!

I have seen the larger Blue leg hermits picking on them but they quickly leave after they taste the wound!

The anemone tenticles wasn't drawed up or shrunk looking they were ripped from the center with just fleashy looking skin hanging from the ripped parts where the tenticles were. I have never seen this before and I have had this type before for over five years before trading it for something else!

I caught another one with smaller holes, the other two are in holes in the rock, will get them when I can reach them ! If they don't come out by tomarrow I will pull the live rock out and get them out, however I can if they look like they are dying too! or at least put those rock in a separate tank with good water! Thanks again
