Question Help with stocking my new tank.

Ok,,

I have read and read and searched but cannot seem to find a definitive answer to my question.

I have a 28 Gal NanoCube with CF Quad lighting up and running. Live rock, Live sand, a couple of mushrooms, small frogspawn and a couple other small soft coral frags. I have one clownfish, about 5 blue leg hermits, 3 Nassarius snails and 8 Astrea snails. Water checks perfect every time and all inhabitants are doing well.

I want to add some more fish and maybe more crabs or shrimp but that is where I can't seem to find any clear answer, if there is any.

I want peaceful and colorful fish. I know I want some sort of sand sifting Gobie and any other fish that have "personality"

Any suggestions as to types of fish and more importantly "How Many" in my tank would be appreciated. Also what is the proper way to add fish and by that I mean how many at a time and pecking order.

I have read many different opinions on this. Some say 2 fish some say 5-7 for my size tank. I have seen some say add all at once so there are no territorial disputes and others say one at a time least aggressive to most aggressive.

I would say you could get away with another clownfish to have a pair(or not), a yellow watchman goby and a royal gramma.

As far as crabs or shrimps I've always had good luck with emerald crabs, ruby crabs, sally light foots, peppermint shrimp and cleaner shrimps.

To add the fish in a good order I'd suggest adding the YWG then then the royal gramma. Those fish are really peaceful and very colorful, however there are exceptions.
