Nano Cube Question
Hey everyone I am new to the site looks like it is going to be a great stay with you guys. I am thinking about starting up a new tank after a few years of being out of the loop. I had a 55 gallon fish and soft coral tank but I am wanting to get a nano cube now and dont know everything about them. Here is what I am wanting in the tank I want some live rock and soft corals and maybe a clam if I have enough lite and room. The main thing that I want in my tank is a Maroon Yellow Stripe Clownfish, so my big question is what size Nano should I get? I am wanting a 12 gallon tank can it work?
How many watts per gallon should I shoot for? How many pounds of rock per gallon? |

Given that the yellow stripe can get fairly large and somewhat mean, you may want to go the 29 Gal route to give it some breathing room if you plan on other fish. Also, a clam can grow quite large, so again 29 Gal would be nice.

And if you plan on having any other fish, I would skip the maroon altogether.
