Skimmate color is ok???

My skimmate color is somtimes bright green to dark green. It seems that there is a lot of chlorophyll. Is this ok? My other tank's skimamte is usually greyish brown...

Thanks!

As long as it is pulling something out it should be good either algae or fish crap that is bad stuff coming out.

what does the green skimmate signify? Is it meaning that my water column has algae?

no, that is the dissolved organic compounds in your water column. fish waste, bacteria, algae, proteins, amino acids, etc.
