Dying to ask... Beckett cone skimmer

Allright!! I can't hold it in any longer!! Wouldn't it be fantastically Redonqulously ridiculous if someone like aqua c ev or pretty much anyone elos.... MRC.... Geo.... Decided to put a cone on top of these awesome Beckett and spray-injected boxes!!!! I wanna slap aqua-c for putting that little 1" diameter riser in the collection cup.... If that was a cone on top of the box...... You would have a killer skimmer....... I am seriously TEMPTED to buy an aqua-c EV 180..... And then like a bubble-Magus NAC-7...... Cut off the cylinder on the aqua-c...... And glue the cone (with a cut off bottom) onto the aqua-c....... All I would need is a cone (or just a darn good skimmer) of the same tube diameter...... Then cut a little and glue a little!!! Is there anyone out there that can get this idea to aqua-c???? A skimmer like this would quintuple their sales and revolutionize the skimmer world....... And if they want to turn a blind eye to the idea.... Anyone willing to donate an aquac-EV 180 or larger with a damaged cylinder + a cone-type (or close to it) skimmer with the same diameter???? I would be willing to pay shipping in the interest of the experiment..... This is not to make money.... Or any other manipulative motive..... I am just a reefer with dozens of years in the hobby with a great idea that I think would help many hobbyists out.... And that has always been my passion...... Making others great at a fantastic hobby and helping newbies to skip over the frustration of the rookie-eating retail reefing that turns people with a once lively ambition..... Into bummed out broke quitters with a dead tank. I was once one of those reefers that listened to the main-stream retail system..... And failed repeatedly until Reef Central came along with great honest businesses like Salty Critter and Phishybusiness ......... So back to my idea...... Anyone with to broken down skimmers that wants to see a spray/beckett cone skimmer work? Please email me at creativenathan@yahoo.com or pm me with ideas and scrap..... For all you locals.... I am in Columbus, Ohio 43147 .... But have family in Toledo, Ohio ..... I would love to meet anyone between here and there on my family visits if it comes to that. ..... Allright..... Who's pumped?..... Anybody?.....
