question on how to DIY RDSB?
would like to see some remote deep sand bed sumps to get an idea of how i want to build mine? i was going to set up a remote refugium but now i am thinking maybe RDSB. this would mean i would have no need of lighting a fuge and dealing with macro algae. if i decide on a fuge i could just put a small hob that can flow directly into the tank. does this seem like a good way to go? thx

Depends on your goal.... Personally I would only do a RDSB in addition to a fuge. I think that the fuge will remove a ton of nitrates and phosphates, as well as act as a place for pods to grow. The DSB only really does Nitrates.
