Exclamation clam HELP

ok this is going to be short because i dont what them to spread. i just got my first calm today and i just saw 3 tiny aptasia near the mantel. what shold i do. i dont want them to spread. and i dont want to was 80 dollers on this calm what shold i do?

just take it out of the tank, make sure it is completely closed and scrub them off with stiff toothbrush. just be careful around the bysus gland

get joes juice or kalk and spray into the mouth of the aiptasia. toothbrush method isnt good, since any left over tissue will develop into a new aiptasia. how did u miss seeing the 3 aiptasias on the clam?

It's at the bottom of the clam. its a small opening where the shell doesn't completely meet. this is where clams attach to rocks.

sorry nycbob, i should have said to discard the rinse water. BTW the method i posted was what dick perrin reccomended, and the method they use at tropicorium. I have never used joes juice, is it completely safe to spray a clam with?
