Striated Angler

Hey guys, I was looking through this site and found this fish and looks really cool. I was wondering, would i be okay in my 29 gallon? it says it can... Also, will it eat my fish and shrimp. i have two clowns, blood shrimp, firefish, and a yellow watchmen goby.

http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/p...35&pcatid=1435

Thanks guys

This thing will likely eat all of those fish over time. I can't be sure about the shrimp though.

That's a mistake. In the detailed description it says, "The Striated Angler Fish has been known to devour fish nearly equal to its own size."

yes, peaceful in that it wont chase fish around.

but the diet of carnivore and the nature of anglers suggest it will over time, if not over a week, consume all your other tanks inhabitants. they can swallow something their body size and are typically found in species only systems...

fascinating fish though!
