bubble king mini 180 skimmer question

I have a mini 180 that has the European pump in it and my converter from 240v to 120v it starting to rust under my cabinet. Can I use the max-Flo 1500 motor-block and swap out the other parts like the cover and pinwheel and have the same skimmer? Thanks Erik

Yes, that is the same motorblock. red dragon buys it and puts their sticker on it and pretends it's something fancier. Where exactly is it rusting?
It's funny you ask this. Just yesterday I posted my entire outer housing, pinwheel, volute, bearings, all in the classifieds for sale without the 1500 motor block.
the motorblock is superglued really well to the bottom plate, just carefully pry it off and then scrape off any broken little plastic pieces that remain, and glue on the new motorblock.

The transformer itself is rusting and starting to bleed a little voltage. the trans former has been moved out of the cabinet but it is only a matter of time before the corrosion takes it toll.
