180 gal dual corner overflows

Building a new 180 gal with dual MegaFlow corner overflows. The drain bulkheads are 1" with 1.25" hose barbs? I have the 1" clear hose for the drain side. What do I need to get or do about the connection. I have the over flows with bulkheads installed and tank moved in place.

Ok. My dual drain hose barbs in my sump are 1" barbs. Can I use the 1.25" hose on them?

I have the same overflows. Thing is, the drain bulkheads comes standard with a 1" pipe as a barb, and that takes a 1.25" hose. Unless, of course, someone changed it.

If you want to use only one size hose, you will have to modify the connectors so that they are the same size, otherwise you will have leakage issues. I assume the 1" barb in the sump is connected to a 1" elbow or connector. I would replace the 1" barb with a short 1" pvc pipe. That will then take a 1.25" hose. Use clamps or lock ties to secure the hose to the pipe.

Here's a few pics of 1" elbows and short 1" pvc's with 1.25 hose.
First one has lock ties now, but not there yet when the picture was taken.
