Exclamation Issues with Apex Controller Webpage

Is anyone else having any issues with their aquacontroller web page. I updated the firmware two nights ago and have had problems ever since.
  1. When I click the headers for "Status", "Configuration", and "XML" the drop-down menus are missing
  2. If I bypass the link for the config menu, when I go to http://apex/outsetup.sht, nothing is displayed
  3. Also when I go to http://apex/profiles.sht, nothing is displayed

Has anyone experienced these problems, if so, how have you fixed them?

When you updated the firmware, did you update the web pages; it is a separate operation?

Yes I used the Apex Flash Utility Version 4.03 to update the web pages. After doing so I have the issues listed above.

In order to get to the "Outlet Setup" page I have to go to http://apex/outsetup.sht and to get to the "Profile Setup" page I have to go to http://apex/profiles.sht. I have attached images of what I see when I get to those pages, which is practically nothing.

If you need anymore information or documents please let me know.

Did you refresh your browser, clear the catch in your browser, and restart the controller? If none of that works I would just reflash the firm ware.

Think I saw this happen once and I just needed to refresh the browser and log in again.

I don't know specifically what is happening with yours, but these would be my recommendations. Hang around and someone will likely know for sure.

I think Ken is right. Sounds like your web pages need to be reloaded. No need to update the firmware again. Just use the same firmware utility but click the Update Web Pages button. There should be 40 or so files that it copies. At the end it must say Operation Complete or something didn't load.

Then do as Gordonious says and clear your browser cache. See if that doesn't fix it.

Hey guys, thanks for the help. I have had some issues with my computer here lately also. So after reformatting my computer, I re-updated my webpages with the apex flash utility and everything is back to normal. I am able to see all the data again. Thanks again!!

You may want to try re-installing the webpages using a different computer. Don't know what difference it makes but it helped me.

Romeo - do you have internet access working to your controller? If so, go to Russ's site (reeftronics) and from the home page on the right side select the option to display your program (text or table, doesn't matter).

Do you see your outlets and programs?

I think you might have duplicate outlet names and/or numbers and it's caused the controller to get confused. If so, you might try to initialize the outlet memory. This will blow your program and outlet names away and reset to default values. Might be your only choice. Page 102 of the user guide has instructions.

i think so too. Lucky i havent install any program yet, so that a good sign i guess. Reason why is because i never got to the outlet config page yet hehehe. As for internet access yes my base unit is connect to my network which im able to get in the Apex page with my laptop from home. But still havent got it to work outside my network yet. Which i will get to it after i fix the outlet problem. Thank you all

Tommy
