2 Bulbs VS 4 Bulbs on a 75 gal tank

Just wanted to get everyones opinion on 2 T-5s Vs 4 on a 75 gal set up. will it be enough light, and for now MH is not an option.

Fish only or reef? Fish only you would be fine with 2. For reef, you might need more then 4 depending on the fixture, and what you plan on keeping.

its going to be a reef and a collection of corals nothing in paticullar

I would get at least 4 bulb, if not 6.

Place a bulb approximately every 3" with individual reflectors.

6 will allow for more color variation of the bulbs. More choices of dusk to dawn.
You do not have to operate all 6 bulbs at one time. You can still only run 2 or 4 if you prefer depending on your set up.

4 bulbs will be good you should be able to keep a mix of everything with sps at the top.;

agreed, i would def. go with 6, i have 6 on my 75 now and couldn't be happier. I almost guarantee that you would want 6 later, so might as well get it now, not that much of a diff in price.

I'm getting by with a 4 bulb on my 75, but I wish I had opted for 6. More options.
