cycleing question

Hello im setting my tank back up from a recent move. can i cycle my tank with only live sand and the rock from my old system which has now dried out and been cleaned which i would now call base rock or dead rock maybe?

Just scrub your dry rock, rinse of any gunk, and allow to become live again during your cycle. If you use sand from your old setup, make sure you rinse that well too.
