Brown algae?
Hey guys, i have been noticing some brown algae starting to appear in my sandbed, on my glass, and on some rocks in my tank. What is this? is is good or bad? how can i get rid of it?

Is it a new tank? They're probably diatoms. They'll come and go within a month.

It is just diatoms it is normal in a new tank and should go away in a couple weeks.

Is there anything I should do with brown algae, or just leave them in the tank until they clear?
