Acropora Polyp Color Morphing?
I got a browned out Acropora a while back, and it's turning a nice purple color. Weird thing though is that the polyps at the top of the coral are bright cobalt blue...and at the base they are lime green. I'm not familiar with Acroporas having different colored polyps throughout the colony. This is more usual IMO with Montiporas. Anyone else know of Acroporas with a variety of polyp color?
