QT tank question
I purchased a 10gal tank to treat a couple of fish with copper. Once I'm done treating the fish and add them back to the DT, am I able to use the 10gal as a QT for newly purchased inverts/corals? Would a 100% water change and a thorough rinsing be enough to rid the tank of the copper or is it permanently tainted?

I would buy another tank for inverts or put them right into dt, I wouldn't risk putting them in a tank that had copper.

I have a seperate 10g for the inverts/corals/LR.
Copper can leach out of silicone and possible other plastics. So pretty muchy any equpiment that is in the copper is best left in the copper tank and get new equipment for a seperate tank. |

I haven't yet had to dose Cu (knock wood). When I do, I'll make the tank I use a designated Cu hospital tank. I wonder if I can get my hands on some of those Mr. Yuk poison control stickers...

If the tank is acrylic it should not be a problem. The silicone in glass tanks does absorb copper, so no if it is glass.
