Any Acan LED lighting owner in the club?

So does anyone have the Acan led lights from James in the club? I'm seriously thinking of getting them and was wondering how people are liking them them also any long term users?

I was at tropical island the other day and was speaking to Mike there, he has been running them on his frag tanks for a while and seems to be happy, corals all look good. I havent seen any individuals with them yet besides James' tanks at the warehouse. Very nice units IMO.

I love this light. Its the A104AC, 18 inch model. Only had it for about 3 weeks though. Corals seem to love it.

Nice looking tank rc4kinu, what are the dimentions of it? also do you have the light at that height to cover the whole tank? one of my concerns is my 40B is rather wide 20" so i am a bit worried about the light spread. Also i will ahve to use the tank legs on mine since there is no way it can be hanged, still have not made up my mind if i should go with the 24 or 36

36"
I wouldn't trust 6" on either side with expandable legs.

K'- The newest model uses a 75 degree optics for wider spread of light.

You were worried about your 20" width.
Length is another matter.

I know this is an old thread, but does anyone else have them? I know Mike at Tropical Island has them (still) and he likes them.
He was telling me the 18inch model is on sale right now and it got me interested.

Yes I have two 18 " lights which I bought from James. Recently returned one due to it blinking on and off. James said it was a solder joint. No problem James gave me a new light and took back the damaged one. I would recomend these lights. Its a great look.

Hi, I also have the acan 104ac fixtures on my main system (210G) and my frag tanks. I love these lights. I get the most amazing growth, I have never seen anything like it. Thats when I decided to also put the fixtures on my frag tanks aswell. They also just came out with new fixtures with multiple bulb choices (blue, royal blue, green, red, white)
