Starry blenny question

I recently added a starry blenny to my 36 gallon to eliminate my hair algae problem about three weeks ago.
1) My first question is, is it normal for the blenny to be really shy? about 90% of the time he's just hiding in his hole and rarely comes out, and if his head is out and anyone walks around in the room he is easily spooked. And if this is normal, any clue as to how long it will take for him to get comfortable with the tank?

2) Now that all of the hair algae is gone, what should most of his diet consist of? Right now im feeding mainly nori, and i've attempted pellets and freeze dried brine shrimp but the blenny is not having any.

He'll eat ordinary reef pellet, medium grade. He's probably also eating film algae, where found, so he may be getting more food than seems. It's unusual for them to be shy at all. What's in there with him?

Do you ever see the clown harassing him?

I have not seen the clown even pay attention to the blenny. When the blenny was first put into my tank the clown seemed completely uninterested. I'm just confused because the only thing I've heard about blennies is that they are full of personality, but mine is just taking refuge in his hole.
