Need help setting up Votech mp40
Hey everyone, sorry for such a dumb question. Just bought the mp40. It says i have to adjust the pin spacer. What in the world are they talking about? I cant find a pin spacer. The pump is installed and works great but I want to make sure im not shortening its life. Can someone explain or if you can post a picture/drawing or anything. Thanks for your help everyone.

Haha. I remember looking and reading over the instructions quite a few times before I figured out it was the rubber cover too. I was looking for something smaller in relation to pins. Once you figure it out, it all makes sense with the different thickness' of glass.

Good to see you got it sorted out. Did you get this pump new? No instructions with it? The pamphlet that came with mine has a pretty good exploded view of the pump parts showing the pin spacer. There's a dedicated paragraph on how to adjust it with a note to take care not to damage it. EcoTech is a sponsor on this forum and have their own separate forum for information and customer questions. Also their web site has downloads for all the manuals as well as a faq page to help you out. "How to" videos too
