help with skimmer/filtration?? anyone??

i posted this question in the octopus HOB owner thread but didnt get a response so i thought i would try it this way and see if i could get some opinions! i am setting up a 56 gallon with 6-8 small fish and coral. i do NOT have a sump. i want an octopus skimmer because of all the great things i've heard about them. i just dont have a clue which one to get. i'm not sure yet what i'm going to do for filtration other than about 80 pounds of live rock. i was looking at the BH-100F. i like it because of the ability to use it as a filter and skimmer. i see its only rated for a 70 gallon tank though. is there any chance that that may be enough filtration and skimmer for my tank? or should i look into a bigger skimmer and do something else for filtration? or just rely on the live rock for filtration? one problem i'm having is the middle support on my tank only leaves me 13 inches on each side. opinions GREATLY appreciated!!

If I was you, I'd go with the Super Reef Octopus LX 1000S. Yes, more money, but a 3 year warranty on the pump. Bubble blasters are awesome. And this will be excellent for your tank when fully stocked from beginning to end without needing to upgrade later.

thanks so much for your reply! i saw that one, but i just wasnt sure how much of that red would be seen in my tank??? i read that they will offer it in black "later this year." i'm wondering how much later! this year is going to be over in 2 months! i wish they would hurry up! it does look like a NICE skimmer.
