Current LED Truelumen Pro?

I hope this hasn't been asked before but I did a serach here as well as a general google search and did not find anything. I have seen the 10" Truelumen LED strips but my LFS has some Current pamphlets that show a larger version which is called Truelumen Pro. These look very much like a Reefbrite LED bar and come in standard tank lengths. My LFS said they have been unable to order them but the have several the small TL strips. Does anyone have any info on them? Performance? When available? Cost?

AFAIK they haven't been released yet. Hopefully the Pro is nicer than the 10'' TrueLumens- I wasn't impressed with those at all (esp. compared to the old Powerbrites). JMO

Thanks, kind of what I figured. I went to the Current site too and didn't see anything either. When my LFS got their first order of the 10" strps they sent them a little display with the moonlights and 10" stip attached to it and the pamphlets with the Pros listed were in the display. Guess we'll wait and see.

I just spoke with Ike from Ecoxotic, and pre-ordered 2 of the 36" 12K lights. They are supposed to ship this week. They claim to make them up to 48"

Here is the link that I was e-mailed.

Can you clarify? I thought these were made by Current, not Ecoxotic.......

Also, do you have any info on pricing when you pre-ordered.

Thanks in advance,

FYI these lights are now up on Currents website. Look very cool. Glad to see they are now official, but no word on availability or pricing on Currents website.

does anyone have any info on the pars and depth rating on these lights to figure how many would be needed for a 48Lx18wx30h reef tank

I think these would just be good for supplemental and not for supporting corals on their own. Looking at the power rating and how many LEDs are on the fixture that these would be low power LEDs.
