QT Tank Question
Picked up a used 12G nano I am going to use for a QT for now. What I need to know is if the sponge filters will be enough to maintain the bacterial filter. I put them in my sump for a couple of weeks. Will this work or do I need to do something else?
Thanks, Steven |

They'll work just fine.

Yep. Just let them sit in your sump and seed, then they will be good. You will still have to keep a eye on ammonia though in a tank that small.

Yes, the sponges will work fine. You can throw them away when you are finished treating your fish.
