I used Red Sea on my 90 because I thought it was cool that it was actual salt dehydrated from the Red Sea. After reading how many people use IO and how cheap it is, I use Instant Ocean now. JMHO, Tropic Marin is a ripoff.

Looks really good. Nice job with everything so far! Hatian rock (looks like what you have) is so nice to aquascape with and is really porous.
+1 on moving the PH off the front glass

Thanks everyone! Sry I have not been on in awhile I was on a band trip to Atlata! Thanks for you comments, and btw SMY178 no i'm removing that powerhead and putting in a MP10 I'm also replacing the MH bulb with a more blue tintbulb.
greech - yes it is hatian rock. at first i didnt really know the difference between fuji rock and hatian rock.. all I knew was that live rock is live rock. I have been reading about others tanks and everyone seems to have fuji so I wanted that but my lfs ordered me hatian and I am very happy with what I got! The rock came with mostly big pieces but I took a jac hammer it some haha! The only problem I have had with the tank was that my hood broke I called up oceanic and within a day they figured out what the problem was and fixed the problem by sending me another fixture with a 2 day ship on it! should be here tomarrow. |

Does anyone think I have too much rock in the tank??? The current looks like it flows well threw all the rock but I was just wondering... I'm also getting an MP10 powerhead in about two weeks too so keep that inmind.
