2x150w MH-Enough for 55 Gallon?
Will 2 150 watt pendants or retrofit kits be enough to grow some basic sps coral? Not looking at $100 peices, just some simple moti's, etc.
Probably running 14k bulbs. Any opinions are greatly appreciated. Thanks, Kyle |

Yes 2 150s will be fine. I had the same set up a while back. I would recommend Phoenix 14ks. You will be able to keep any sps you want just fine.

I had a derasa on the bottom of my 75G with 2x150s.
I'd not put maximas down there, but derasas should be fine, and possibly even croceas.

Yeah clams will be fine. I had a corcea and a maxima in my old 55. I would not run a UV on a reef tank, kills good plankton. Here is a really bad pic of it.
