Identification- anemone or hydroid?

I was disappointed to find, well, not much on much on my live rock. I did come across this little guy that I think may be an anemone, it's trunk is much thicker, and it is much bigger, than the hydroids in the tank. It is still very small though, just a few mm I would guess. My camera isn't great, but maybe someone could give some insight. It's hard to tell in the pic, but it doees seem to have a ring of tentacles.

(The white blob right above it is just some rock)

neither..pineapple sponge..harmless filter feeder and a sign of a healthy tank..hth

+1 on pineapple sponge i have them growing in my filter and in the bottom of my rocks they use up silicates

Agreed, I find them most if dark areas of the tanks,as mentioned like under rocks
