Help ID Worm on Glass

All of the sudden a ton of small white wormish looking things appeared on the glass of my aquarium. I have had my tank for a little over a year now, and I have never seen them before. They do not move as far as I have seen, but they definitely look like living creatures. They are too small to get a picture of but a made a drawing of them if that helps.

There are some very very small tubeworms that sometimes cover stuff in tanks and are generally just a sign of maturity. Not sure if that is what you are seeing or not.

Try using your fingernail to wipe it from the glass. If it's hard, I'm guessing it's just the calcareous shell of a feather duster. Check this out.
