about 8 hours, lights 9" above water if metal halide. I set my actinics to go 30 min before and 30 min after.

With zoas, run carbon for water quality, and be sure your alkalinity stays at about 8.3-9.3. A test for that is good. If alk is in line, ph usually isn't too far off. Water changes at the rate of 10% a week are usually enough for zoas to be happy. If your water situation won't stabilize, I can tell you more things to check.

Current Tank Info: 105g AquaVim wedge, yellow tang, sailfin blenny, royal gramma, ocellaris clown pair, yellow watchman, 100 microceriths, 25 tiny hermits, a 4" conch, 1" nassarius, recovering from 2 year hiatus with daily water change of 10%.

Can I use a hardness kit that would be used to test domestic water? I have one I use for work and tried it but it didn't work right.

Thanks

I have a ton of different zoos. Orange, blue, green, black/blue, and some brown button polyps. My lights are on from 10 - 9. Actinics are on exclusively from 10-11 and 8-9.

8.4 pH, 9 dKH, temp 78-80, Cal 450, 1.026 sg, 0 ammonia and nitrite, small amount of nitrate.

They are growing like weeds, I enjoy them a lot. Good purchase!

You can use a tds on ro/di: the answer should be 0. After you add salt mix, naturally, there's quite a lot of mineral in the water.

Just purchased a calcium test kit and my results came back at 360
should I try to bring this up? Will a water change bring it up?

Thanks
