ID please.
These filaments only come out at night after lights out, and only on this one rock. They are white and about 3 inches long. They move very little in the current. No trace of them, or their base/body can be detected in the day time.

By no means sure about this..but to me they look like arms of a starfish..but that would be my best guess..

Appear to be brittle/serpent stars. Harmless little guys that wave their arms in the current to catch food. Do a quick google search and see if that is indeed what you are seeing.
