Cadlights 50g cube LED build
After what feels like forever, I finally have the new tank running and would like to share....welcoming any comments and tips
50g cadlights tank (2) mp10s RKL with ALC running the LED's SWC 120 Skimmer Mag 7 return Pacific Coast cl-280 chiller Autotopoff system with 2.5 gal reservoir 18g Mr Aqua cube sump with added baffles Custom stand and light fixture 24 cree led's powered by 2 meanwell 48d's Stand [IMG]http://i55.*******.com/ta6jgm.jpg[/IMG] Last edited by iride350z; 12/02/2010 at 12:12 AM. |

Led rack build with some L channel aluminum and leds with separate heat sinks

I think that the addition of lenses would significantly reduce the light bleed. I would recommend medium lenses.

Looks good, I agree with MosMike maybe add some opticts to keep more light in the tank.

my plan is to add some 60-80 degree lenses, i just wanted to see how the spread would be without them before a went ahead and bought lenses. I made sure to leave enough room for lenses so the glass shield would still go on.
