Aquascaping for Coral Conversion
Just wanted to share my redesign for the live rock in my tank. I think this will give me plenty of places to attach coral and also provide shade for any corals that need it. I should have my lights up in a few weeks and then I just have to get my nitrates under control (may take forever!!)

The last time I saw a Tusk it was at the reef shoppe and it was just polishing off a very large sea star. Good looking fish.....Great appetite.
Very nice Aqua scape. |

interesting for sure!
there are things that I really like about your stack and some things that I'd change. What kind of rock is that... "Reef Bones"? What size aquarium and what type of overflow?

Most of the rock is Fiji I got from TRS and CF. But I also bought some that isn't Fiji, but can't remember the name.
I have a Marineland 300DD and there are 2 built in overflows in the corners (each drain is 1.5in pipe above tank, 1.25in pipe below tank). I just moved my sump system down to the basement so I got to redo all the plumbing, lucky me..... Being 3 feet deep, the tank provided alot of options for the rock work.... but for me too many options results in slow decisions and overthinking (and then more tinkering!!!) |
