want good t5 combo for 90 gal reef
Hi everyone, I have a 90 gallon reef with a metal halide fixture that has 2 250watt 20k halides and 4 t5 54watt actinics. I am going to change the t5s and was wondering what would work best as far as color and coral growth. My light is hanging about a foot above my tank and most of my corals are lps and sps. This fixture came with 15k halides but I just recently changed them to 20K to get rid of the yellow look. Any advice and help would be much appreciated.

well I would go with a 6 bulb, and go with one of the following combos
ati blue + ati aquablue special ati blue + ati purple + ati aquablue special ati blue + or ati blue + ATI purple + ATI blue plus ATI blue plus ge 6500k ati blue + Ran both of these and they are both great for growth and color. Good luck Mojo~

I'm currently running my SPS dominated tank with this combo
ATI blue+ KZ super blue KZ new generation ATI purple+ ATI blue+ KZ super blue Looks like 14-16k with all bulbs on |

The OP is asking what T5's to supplement the MH's. Not switching to all T5.
OP, go with 2 ATI Blue Blue Plus, 1 UVL Super Actinic and 1 ATI Purple Plus. You could even do 2 Purple Plus if you want to add more red into the tank with all the blue.

Yes RT Im not switching to all T5 just supplementing my 20 Ks. Thanks for the responses.

wont this leave my tank too blue with the 20Ks I figured I would need some kind of daylight bulb like a 10K or something

(2) ea. WavePoint 12k and (2) ea. Fuji Purple. That would add some POP and crispness to the overall color of your corals.

Do a blue plus, 6700k ge, purple, purple
