Eshopps HOB psk-75/100

Posted in the eShopps Skimmer club thread, but wondering if I might get a quicker response on a new thread...

Can anyone with the HOB psk-75/100 h comment on the height of the skimmer? I can see that they are 23in in height, but how much of that sits above the tank? My tank if 18 inches high, but the stand extends out a few inches past the back of the tank. I'm concerned that the skimmer will bottom out on the stand, meaning it won't "hang" correctly. From pictures it looks like the collection cup will sit "above" the tank and if its at or about 5 inches tall, then I think it'd work out.

I have a PSK 75 on my 20L. The top of the skimmer lid sits 7 1/4'' from the top rim of the aquarium. Hope that helps!

So top of tank to bottom of skimmer is about 16 inches then?

I would say closer to 15, but it is a bit tough to measure back there.

Awesome. I have 18 from top to stand, so I think I'll pull the trigger on it. None of the LFS carry it, and I hate having to try to ship returns. (most only carry the seaclone sadly) Thanks for the help!!

I have a PSK-100H that I haven't used yet (about a year old). It looks like it would be just a hair under 8" above the top rim of the tank, if I measured correctly.
