Any aragonite sand will work. Sugar fine can be messy if you plan on having a lot of flow.

Take the advice of seapug and ensure the size of the sand is considered. I'd say go with a SSB though as I'm not much of a fan of DSBs.

There's no need to pay extra money for any of the common live sand products. They aren't live in any useful sense. Any fine-grained aragonite or silica sand is fine, although silica sand is more prone to scratching glass tanks. I agree that high flow can make the smallest grain sizes messy.

Take bertonis advice. Rather than getting 'live sand'....Go buy some aragonite sand and find some real 'live sand' from a local reefer. This scoop/bag of sand will be more beneficial than the sand sold as 'live' and will help seed the sand with the beneficial bacteria needed.
