Smile About to start another build...Lighting Q's

I plan on starting another build dedicated to just zoanthids/ricordea.I have an extra 40 long-48"x12"x16".What would you recommend for lighting? My ideas for this tank is not to focus so much on growth but to really showcase the colors in the coral.
Thanks in advance

4 t5's would me more than ample for that and you should be able to do a bulb combo that looked good.

However, if you want to really go for it, build an led rig, and have it highlight your aquascaping, you know, only light the rocky areas where the corals are and leave some darker spots, it will really make your corals stand out and could be very striking.

I was thinking because of the dimensions led's would work great. If i were to use 48"reefbrites, how many would be needed and am i going to be sticking around the 20k range for coloration?

I would build a fixture myself but somebody would have to do a shopping list for me lol

Have you checked out the websites like rapidleds.com? They have kits all laid out for you. As far as the reefbrites, I don't have any personal experience with them, but I would imagine you would want to use at least 4 of them.
