New pump for vertex skimmer
I have a vertex skimmer 100 and need a new pump,I think I read somewhere that the stock ones were junk,so was wanting a different one.
Has anyone changed theirs and if so help pick out a new one? Thanks for the help |

I have a Vertex 180 and changed mine with a Bubble Blaster 3000. The pump is more expensive but give better performance and is a perfect fit on it.
I believe for a Vertex 100 the bubble blaster 2000 is what this thread was recommending. http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/sh....php?t=1477098 Beware.. this is a very huge thread but lots of great info with people who switched to the Bubble Blaster with Vertex skimmer. For me the performance was increased x2 maybe even x3 but like I said the pump is expensive. Here is what the pump look like : |
