Cool Display Lighting for a Fish Only

Hey everyone! I wanted to set up 75gal FOWLR and am looking for a light kit that would fit to really show the fish well. Something that attatches to the tank.
I know reef lighting and have 500 watts of 13k Halides right now, but for a cool visual FOWLER display I am a little clueless.

Any experience would be great.

I'd say T5's would be a good choice...actinic lighting will really bring out colors in fish.

I'd say a 4 bulb t5 fixtured or retro fit kit would do it with some nice actinic bulbs. You could probably get away with 2 since its going to be a fowlr.

I had planned on setting up a fowlr (until my tank sprung a leak). Why not do l.e.d.? I bought the marine land double brights. I used to have a reef and was spending more on t-5 bulbs each year than one of these cost and they should last about 5 years!

actually actinics do nothing for fish. 10k lights make fish look better.

if its just fish only, just get a regular normal output florescent 10k's. No reason to waste money and power on something that doesnt need it.

A two bulb T-5 retro would be awesome, I would recommend (1) ea. actinic bulb and (1) ea. Fuji Purple bulb. POP would be how people describe the color, look of your fish!
