Bublemagus NAC6 Problem

I have a problem with it overflowing.

It will create dark, dry skimmate for few days, and then out of nowhere the cup

fills with nearly clear water in a matter of hours. I do have ATO installed in my

sump, so water level is stable all the time. I've gone three days without adding

anything, just to try to figure out what's causing it. I'm stumped. Anyone with

similar experience?
