Light problem

I have a coralife 48'' light that was converted from PC's to t-5s

The T-5s work just fine until I turn on the 150 MH lights

After about 15-20 mins the t-5s will cut off. They are run be an external 660 ballast.

Is it possible the T-5 bulbs are getting to hot and causing the problem?

Turns out it was a heat issue. I did an experiment and took the acrylic covers out and the light runs a whole lot cooler. The t5s stayed on just fine.

The light is high enough off the tank so I don't think it will be an issue.
