SWC 160 cone VS SWC Xtreme 200
Hey guys/gals, I have a heavy stocked 90g. Upgrading my sump and skimmer. I had been planning on updating to a 300g next year so I built the sump for the xtreme 200 which has a massive foot print. The woman dumped on me about getting a new house so the 300g is going on the backburner.
Should I still plan on the 200 or will it be overkill for my current system. I like the 160 cone and read rave reviews, I just have a 12x15 skimmer section in my sump now that that little cone would look goofy in. LOL what do you guys think? Will it be okay? Opinions?

Guys, I just bought the 180 xtreme cone with the Sicce 2500 and all I can say is wow. Save the footprint of your sump. 9x8x21. Easy to setup and breaking in right now. Nice adjustments for water and air too. Modular. I paid 374 shipped and insured. Mine is a heavily stocked 90 reef. No, I don't have pics yet.

Even though the 160 cone is rated for 90-100 gal heavy load, I would recommend the 180 cone as well.
linyreefer-I assume the sicce start up issues have been addressed. |

Unfortunately where they are a small company and dont distrubute much... not really :-(
But I get to see tons of vids and first hand experience. They run them on all of their home tanks, work tanks, frag tanks, etc. Mike has had everyone one of them on his home tank. Even the mini cone S. They run a 200 Xtreme on their 300 coral flat. I talk to him through text more than my wife I think LOL. Sucks he is the whole US away. I am in KY and elite is in CO. I will have to fly out just to visit some time.
