Where the hell is myy peppermint shrimp?

I added a peppermint shrimp to my tank a few weeks ago to battle aptasia and have not seen him since. Is this normal or do I have a hitchhiker mantis in my tank again?

Likely no mantis. Peppermint shrimp like to hide and there's no guaranteed they will eat aiptasia.

Have you observed your tank after the lights go off? My peppermint shrimp mostly hides during the day, but comes out at night and zips all around the tank like a rocket.
