wrong hole size

i have a 1" bulkhead which i'm suppose to drill 1.75", however the glass shop i went didnt have the 1.75", so i went with the 2" hole, will i have any problem with the 1" bulkhead on a 2" hole?

its for a 40B

I wouldn’t put a schedule 40 1 inch bulkhead in a 2 inch hole. Too much “slop” and if the bulkhead slips to one side of the hole, it is very close to creating an opening.

I would suggest that you purchase a schedule 80 bulkhead. It’s going to cost considerably more money, but it will fit a lot better. A schedule 80 1 inch bulkhead fits in a 1 7/8 inch hole.

The standard 1" is 1-3/4", heavy duty (schedule 80) uses 1-7/8" which should cover a 2" hole. If possible, I would have them re-drill it to 2-3/8" and use a 1-1/2" fitting, but it is difficult to drill over and existing hole.
