biocube 29 gallon issue =(
just bought a 29 gallon biocube,major problem is how do i eliminate the spill over effect without damaging anything,water in compartment 3(where pump is)is very low,water line in tank is perfect with outside trim.i dont want bioballs so there out,im putting in activated carbon with blocks of sponge filter floss.any help would greatly appreciated.my real question is if i cut a slit in the compartment 1's wall,where do i do that exactly?if at all.thx in advance.

Not exactly sure what you are trying to do but the chamber with the pump is where evaporation will occur first. If that chamber is low you need to top it off with either fresh or saltwater (depending on your specific gravity). Keep in mind that when you pull your sponges and other media you are also removing saltwater.
