reef octopus water blaster pumps
I just got the 3000 model and it kinda loud in respect to buzzing or humming. I can feel a little vibration in the output plumbing. It is not touching the walls in the sump as I can suspend it and the tone doesn't change. I have read where many people say they break in and become silent, about how long does it take? or is there something else wrong?

Mine took about a week and a half to 2 weeks. Make sure it is sitting on the rubber suction cups properly. I also plumbed mine to a section of flex PVC just to help isolate the pump from the hard plumbing. I do not hear my 7000 at all.
