Lighting question
I currently have a 75g mixed reef with 4*65 watt pc they have been over the tank for about 2 years. I have the chance to buy a 48 Inch 6x54W Sunlight Supply Tek Elite Light High Output Fluorescent Lighting Fixture from a friend getting out of the hobby for 100 bucks. Is it worth it? The only thing is I have a canopy right now and i like how it looks. I would have to take off the top and prop it on top.

Buy it before he changes his mind. You should be able to find a way to make it work with your canopy. If you can't, you can resell the fixture.

Definitely go for it. That's a great deal and I'm pretty sure you can make it fit in your canopy.

no question, PC's arent the best, t5's rock. $100 is a deal on a $400+ fixture
