Rods Food question

soooooo I kinda left my rods food pack out for a couple hours and it liquified mostly, I then threw it back in the freezer. Will it be okay to continue using that pack of food or has it been ruined?

May very well be fine - I have no idea. But, I can tell you that I wouldn't take the chance.

I think over 40 F for more than 4 hours is a no go.

i left mine out for about 3-4 hrs once also, didn't have any problems with it. i'm sure the food is out longer than that when they combine it.

I don't think your problem is that its gone bad. A few hours is probably fine in that regard. Putting the food through a refreezing in a home freezer is your problem. The ice crystals that form when the food is frozen slowly causes cells to get torn apart. The result is a mush of stuff thats not all that appealing and, if you ever need a way to drive up your phosphates, a very useful additive.
