Algae/Flow
We have a biocube 29 and we are starting to develop some algae (Pics to come). Does Flow affect algae? It is only growing on the side without the powerhead and at the bottom in the front. We had been looking at adding another powerhead. Would that help with this problem? We upgraded to this tank about 2 1/2 months ago. Water is good. Is is possible to have to much flow? Should we add snails?
Thanks

Flow could be a factor, but the best way to combact algae it two ways. First, get a poylfiter pad. It is like cotton, and works like a charm in removing phosphates. Andother idea is to get saltwater plants. They take in the nutrition that algae has, thus removing algae. The plants look nicer than algae too. For plants, go to www.liveaquaria.com
