Have sum questions??
I'm setting up a 72"x36"x25" 280 gallon tank display in my living room!
With two 150 gallon Rubbermaid sumps daisy chained together. One of the rubbermaid 150 gallon will be full of rock and deep sand. I would like to use the second rubbermaid 150 gallon for a coral grow out tank. With a deep sand bed and some rock with fish. Are these stock tanks going to hold the weight of the water and rock?? Has anyone had problems with these stock tanks??? Also have a 4' x 4' Frag tank tied in to the system. Im going to have a ton of sps and lps. I will have a Geo 624 calcium reactor also. Another question is how offen do I do a water change and how much water?? I don't want to take out to much water when I don't need to. I know I'm going be spending a ton of $$$ on salt!! |

I guess I will figure it out. No input around here. Must of posted in the wrong spot. You would think this issue would be asked on this forum! I guess I will try the large tank forum. Maybe have better responses on the large tank thread!!

Scuba Steve, the rubbermaid tubs will handle the weight/pressure just fine. I would be careful about how you daisy chain them though. The tubs will bow slightly when full of water...if hard piped together, you may experience some leaking at the bulkheads
