Cool LED REEF! (Soon To Come)

Ok So what's all the heep with LEDs in a reef and more specifically sps? Obviously you see all the threads with people saying "Oh they insufficient, dont get them, they don't work, ect." Well being an optimist and believer I am joining the "Led band wagon!" and will document my progress. So at the moment I have a 40 gallon breeder with 2x96watt pc lighting and full reef tank and haven't tried sps as I was advised I would be wasting my money. So I am upgrading to led lighting. I ordered led tubes 36" long,4 white and 4 blue. Heres the source.
http://www.ecvv.com/product/1702599.html
Ordering through someone else though and said they are brighter than vho t5 and without heat and 10+ years of life. Also i belive he said they were 10k white and 40watt bulbs. So I'll keep you guys posted with my led experience and should arrive and be installed sometime during next week.

Any inputs?

Ive had the LEDs running for 1 week and I have more polyp extension than before. You won't. Regret it.

I've never seen those bulbs before used for a reef application. Although they might be brighter than t5's what is important is the PAR rating. The reason T5's are adequate isn't because of the bulb itself it's due to the reflectors. My concern is the LEDs which no data is displayed for them. If these LEDs are similar to the other t5 LED tubes they are ran at less then 1w and if thats the case it would take a hundred or so to match the output of a reef applicable LED light, but I may be wrong maybe these are 3w crees driven at the appropriate mA.

Ok so maybe I should also get a par meter and post the results also to show how strong and deep these lights penetrate? Also these are mounting inside of my "2 tube holding" reflectors to help increase light strength. I will post pics and results once installed. And I know what you mean, I was skeptical about trying these but was dying for an led setup so they guy i was talking to said these had higher expectations from their company than their t5 product so I'll try em!
