Geo 624 "issues"

Purchased used Geo 624 and having some issues.

I don't think CO2 solenoid valve is opening when plugged in. Milwaukee web site states there should be a “click”.

Eheim 1250 is leaking from the impeller cover.

Any suggestions?

the 624 doesnt use an eheim 1250 they use a blue line pump (if the pump is leaking it is the front cover)

milwaukee regulator is junk

Sounds like you may have been taken to the cleaners.

GEO has used a number of pump setups over the years, so it's possible (they would have to confirm). On the eheim, I'd take it apart and see if you can find the issues. If it's the cover itself, I believe there should be an o-ring in there. It might be worn or missing. You can probably get spare parts.

On the regulator, no milwaukee isn't the perfect setup, but it should absolutely do the trick. I've run one for many years, banged it around, rusted it out, and it's still rock solid. Take the solenoid and plug it straight into the wall (not a controller). If you don't hear an obvious click, yes the solenoid is probably bad and likely needs to be replaced.

I must have wrong model number, Looks just like the CR618 but its 28" with an Eheim 1250 pump.

Only paid 100 for full set up w/ bottle, regulator (bad solenoid) Milwaukee SM122 Ph controller (bad probe) reactor. So Im not out much.
