Flat worms are they ok

Have lots of flat worm in my sand. Are they ok. Dont cause trouble. They even venture out onto glass. Had em for year but never this bad. What you all think

I'd get rid of them before, they can multiply and will start to cover everything eventually

If you've got corals they'll end up annoying them and killing them off slowly. From the sound of it you've got quite a lot.

I don't know anything about your tank, if you've got a lot of corals invested then take a nylon sock tie it to the end of a 1" tube. Put the nylon end into your sump and the other end start sucking them out of your display tank. Get as many as you can, toss them out.

... and then carefully nuke it with salifert flatworm exit after doing some careful reading about the product. There's another really good thread using some kind of pig dewormer but this is more advanced.

Manually suck them out. All of them that you see. You will still have a million more of them.

Suck them out any time you see them at least a few times a week for a few weeks. You must do this before you use salifert flatworm exit and you must follow the instructions exactly. After the first treatment you always have to do follow up treatments but they will be far easier.

And no, they are not OK.
